| 12 Jan 2001 | Kamikaze | Good work for a HS student. I would try to redo the elf's head and right arm. Try foreshortening and using more accurate proportions. Also, the dragon's head might need some modifications, but that is more my personal preference in dragons rather than your own skill. | |

They are immediatly eye catching and so realistic. I would say that you need to work on the shading of the tail. As it falls behind the dragon and his rider and your light source seems to be coming from high up in front of them both, the tail should be darker to suggest the shadow the body will make behind it. I'd like to see the whole picture, if possible! | |

The elf also seems to be naturally positioned on the dragon's back -- but is his arm a little too big? Nevertheless, lovely work. | |
